My friend bear hugged me a couple of weeks ago, something poppped an nd now i'm sore under my right breast???

Cracked rib?: The bear hug may have cracked a rib, but if only sore possible a "greenstick" (incomplete) break, both will heal without further treatment. Another possibility a dislocation of the costo-chondral juntion at your breast bone (the junction between the rib and the cartilage that attaches it to the sternum). That will usually produce a visible lump--but it may have just popped out momentarily.
