Not eating?: Teresa, you are most definitely not fat, in fact you are dangerously underweight. Are you eating? I suspect you are not which is probably why you fainted. Please speak to a trusted adult, your mom or dad, a counselor at school and get to a doctor as soon as possible.

Urgent evaluation: As it turns out you have fainted and have a very low BMI indicative of being underweight. Please go to the emergency room so they can check your electrolytes and fluid status. I wish you good luck and hope you can talk to your parents to take you to the hospital as soon as possible.

Fainting: There are important causes of fainting - if this is new for you it will help for you to see your primary care doctor to check for these. Are you 5'3" and 79 lb? Don't be embarrassed. Don't be mad at yourself. Get yourself checked- things happen out of our control and they can be addressed.
