Foreign object: This sounds like a metallic object was seen on one of the two X-ray pictures that was taken. When a finding like this is not seen on both X-ray views, it is usually an artifact and NOT something inside of you. The radiologist or ordering physician will re-order the car y if there is a concern that something is wrong

Not important: when a metal density is seen on only one view, it is unimportant. This means an object was identified that lies outside of the body.
