A member asked:

I also know there's common side effects of tenormin (atenolol). what are they?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many, generally mild: Slow heart rate, worsening of heart failure, potentiation of asthma and hypokalemia and low blood sugar. Fatigue, sexual dysfunction are probably overstated. May have withdrawal if stopped suddenly. Potential for mild weight gain.
