A member asked:

I recently had blood test and my c4 & my ch50 and my c reacyive protein were all really high what does that mean i been having bad abdominal pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Inflammation: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, the results suggest on-going inflammation but do not provide a clue to the cause of inflammation. It would require in-person investigation and you may need to consult a rheumatologist.
