Possibly: May Thurner Syndrome, or compression of the iliac vein as you mentioned, means you are at risk for DVT's or deep venous thromboses. These can dislodge from the leg and travel, through the heart, to the vessels to the lungs and cause a pulmonary embolus (PE). PE can cause chest pain and shortness of breath. Would absolutely have this evaluated by your physician as soon as possible.
