Possibly: If you haven't had any trauma to your legs, or don't take any medications that could lead to abnormal blood clotting like aspirin, Aleve, (naproxen) ibuprofen, Excedrin, etc then you may want to see you doctor to make sure there isn't something more concerning like an abnormality with your platelets or coagulation studies.

Depends: If there is no history of trauma to explain the bruising, I would be concerned about the cause. Bruising is common after injury, but bruising without injury is not normal and needs to be explained. Please see a doctor if you do not recall any injury preceding the bruising.
