Negatively: Your body requires a certain amount of blood pressure to get blood rapidly to your tissues, bathing them in nutrients necessary to keep up with their high demand during athletic activity. If your blood pressure is too low, then you might not be able to provide this to your tissues and you would feel weak, unable to perform. At the age of 21, low BP is more rare.
