Silver lining: Knowing little about your family, I may be wrong, but it may be a chance to find good support in your Mom. As a daughter I couldn't talk to mine so I made sure I could w/ my daughter. She's been a great mother to her kids on this topic. I'll bet she'd love to help you. Most Moms do. Maybe you can admit worry and ask to visit your Dr together. Drs are often helpful at sharing teen sex info. Maybe?
