See your doctor: This sounds like it could be a pelvic infection. See your doctor, get a pelvic exam so they can take cultures. I don't know your relationship situation, but STD testing could be appropriate as well. Hope this helps!

Vaginitis: So, can be a few different things. Could be yeast, could be bacteria, could be an STD like chlamydia or gonorrhea. Left alone for awhile (a few weeks qualifies as "awhile") some of these vaginal infections can go up into the pelvis, causing something called pelvic inflammatory disease. I would get checked out by a doctor. Good luck!
