Yeast Infection: Sex, and more specifically semen changes the acid/base levels in the vagina. This can allow for overgrowth or of bacteria or yeast. Vaginal cleansers can also remove healthy bacteria and allow for overgrowth of other bacteria and yeast. Do not use vaginal cleansers, and start taking a daily over the counter probiotic to make sure you have healthy amounts of normal bacteria.

Men get yeast infect: It is a little known fact but men can also get yeast infections. They are mainly asymptomatic but are easily transmitted. One possibility is that your partner and you are ping ponging the infection so that original infection never went away. Something else to think about is you may have never got rid of the original infection
