Shame: Studies indicate that as people rise up the financial ladder they tend to feel less empathy, become more greedy and less ethical. Not sure if shame is in that equation but possibly. Best.

Shame: My view is that when people seem shameless they are anything but shameless. People defend themselves against the feeling of shame, this can be running away , flogging themselves attacking others ;by a series of maneuvers such as drinking and running for office; any intense activity :sports politics, entertainment can take us away from our sense of self and we can be somebody else. The shame is buried.

Shame: It depends on whether or not that particular person suffers from what is known as antisocial personality disorder, that hallmark of which is generally having no conscience, or sense of right and wrong. These are people who are often largely incapable of experiencing shame.
