Extra pills disposal: You could bring them to your doctor and they will dispose of them or to your pharmacist. Medications should NEVER be dispose into the toilet because you are contaminating the water supply. The water reprocessing plants don't have the technology to extract medications from the water.

Dispose or Donate: Most towns have prescription drug disposal sites. Call your pharmacist or local health department. Some indigent health centers might accept unused/unopened medications to donate to patients. However, newer medication documentation regulations have made that harder for clinicians to do. Hope u enjoy your IUD. It is am excellent contraceptive option.
