See doctor: Have you had an injury? Is there something that you think is causing it? How does it affect you activities? An xray would be the first thing. Ankle pain is commonly caused by a sprain and treating it with an ankle support usually is the cure. Hopefully this is all that you need, but you need to be seen

SHOES: Perhaps it time to get new shoes or you may have stresses your Left Ankle running. My advice would be to rest your ankle for several days. If that doesn't work try a new shoe. if all else fails a sports medicine doctor will help you.
