Normal: Inr - 1.1 is normal and it should be on xarelto

Xarelto and INR: Xarelto is a good for blood clots in the deep veins of the leg. Xarelto doesn't use the INR to measure effectiveness of treatment. It may go up like coumadin (warfarin) does, but is not an effective measurement of treatment quality. She should be diligent about taking this medication. If swelling or pain worsen, or if she develops chest pain or shortness of breath should seek immediate medical attention.
