Consult your doctor: Stretch marks are a problem and usually relate to excessive weight. Even if that's not true for you i suggest you talk with your family doctor and he may refer you to a skin doctor.

Normal: There is nothing to do to prevent them and they fade with time. You can google about this and I am sure will find many things for sale, but evidence that anything is better than just waiting for them to fade is ellusive. Losing weight and getting back in trim with exercise is the best cure and tanning is helpful cosmetically. you are a mother and can be proud of it.

Not much helps: In a randomized trial, a cream containing Centella asiatica extract, alpha tocopherol (vitamin E), and collagen-elastin hydrolysates seemed to prevent development of striae in women prone to this problem, but further study is needed before this intervention can be recommended. Cocoa butter was not effective in preventing stretch marks in another randomized trial. Good luck!

Creams/laser: Stretch marks are a difficult problem. There are surgeries and laser treatments that can remove them. But before you go that route it would be worth trying some of the creams that may help diminish them. Here's a link to a review of the best ones http://stretch-marks-center.com/

No easy way.: Stretch marks represent a tear in the dermis (strength layer) of the skin. There are a number of treatments including surgery, laser, topical therapy, and chemical peeling. Other than surgery, which trades a scar for a stretch mark, none of these have been proven to be greatly effective. Depending on the location, a consult with a plastic surgeon may be beneficial.
