Ulcer: Generally a ct scan will not see a stomach ulcer in less it is a very large also. Many times the stomach is also not distended during the ct scan making it difficult to view. Sometimes right before the ct scan is taken the technologist may give you a extra glass of contrast to distended stomach. Generally also is our best seen by an endoscopy from a gastroenterologist.
