See below: Dicloxicillin is usually well tolerated in the vast majority of patients who take it. It is best taken on an empty stomach. Like other penicillin class drugs it can cause side effects including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, allergic reactions, serum sickness, interstitial nephritis and bone marrow toxicity.
