Http://www.drugs.com: has a complete list of medications with potential interactions with methylphenidate, including alcohol & certain foods. Always tell your doctor what precription, OTC & naturopathic medications, including herbs & vitamins, you are taking when starting any new med. St. John's Wort, a mild MAO Inhibitor, can cause a hypertensive crisis if taken < 2 weeks before starting an MPH product like Ritalin.
