Vicodin 5/500: For acute pain only maximum dose is 7 tab. per day. This is based on the acetaminophen portion of Vicodin (The maximum dose of acetaminophen is 3500 mg per day).

Vicodin: Vicodin 5/500 has been discontinued and replaced by 5/300 the max dose is listed at 6 per day for a short period
