An angiogram allows for a detailed look at the blood vessels to see if there is any injury or abnormality that could cause your symptoms. It could show bruising, mainly as soft tissue swelling, but that is not the purpose of the study. The radiologist's report will probably focus on the vessels and any related abnormalities.
