Stringy Thingy?: Stringy part? What's that? If not circumcised, maybe it's due to minor trauma and will heal if kept clean and quiet, so to speak, for a while. If that small cut starts to grow, then get it examined, especially if painful lumps develop in his groins. Ask him about any local 'trauma' he may have inflicted upon himself somehow (watch that zipper and...keep it zipped for a few days...)
