Just one: One course of Provera (medroxyprogesterone) will cause 1 withdrawal bleed. If you take it monthly on a calendar it will cause monthly cycling. if you cycle normally anyway but missed a period, Provera (medroxyprogesterone) taken once will sometimes get the normal cycling started again.
