A member asked:

Are the lungs, the uterus, the bladder, etc. just infoldings?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In the beginning...: Nearly every part of the inside of the human body started as an infolding of tissue during embryologic development. Once fully developed, they mature into very complicated organs that are anything but "infoldings" Best wishes!
