A member asked:

Can you tell me about non-epileptic seizures but not pnes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Seizure but not pnes: Seizures may occur for people who do not have a tendency to have a seizure. Epilepsy is a condition of two or more unprovoked seizures. A provoked seizure may occur due to meningitis, alcohol withdrawal, head injury, medication side effects, very low or high blood sugar, etc. If you mean psychogenic non-epileptic seizure by pnes, this is a different situation than those above.
