Ocp questions: One usually gets a period after taking the full cycle [21 or 24 active pills. However, if you have had irregular menses, you may not get a period after completing the active pills. If you had intercourse without using a condom before completing the first cycle of active pills, you might have gotten pregnant. I would do a pregnancy test one week after intercourse to make sure you are not .
