Pregnancy: Sperm may reach fallopian tube in 30 min. Conception (pregnancy) depends on when you ovulate (you don't know that, you can only gess). Sperm may survive in fallopian tube for 7 days , ( even longer in rare ocassions) . So you can get pregnant in 30 minutes or 7 days after intercourse, it depends on when you ovulate. The answer is always on the pregnancy test.

You can't: There is no way to determine for sure if you are pregnant between ovulation and the start of the next period, except with a sensitive pregnancy test. If i misunderstood your question, please feel free to ask again.
