Inguinal hernia causes nausea when part of intestine gets trapped. it is painful emergency situation. i feel nausea off and on w/o emergency, why?

Hernia: when a piece of intestine gets trapped in a hernia it may swell and cause the blood supply to become decreased. This may cause the portion of bowel to become damaged or die resulting in a medical emergency. If the hernia becomes tender or painful go to the ER immediately. They may be able to manually reduce the hernia and restore the blood supply or surgery may be needed.
