Appendicitis: Unlikely to be appendicitis. Appendicitis, inflammation of the appendix, can start with discomfort around your belly button then will usually isolate to the right lower quadrant. Usually associated with fevers and a lot of pain as severity worsens. You are describing pleuritic chest pain. If this persists, I would re-evaluate closely with your doctor next week.
