Electrolytes: At age 23, it is most likely, electrolyte imbalance, which can happen after vigorous exercise or overheating. Try to drink some Gatorade and to take B-complex vitamins.

Couple of causes: The quality of this pain sounds as if it is based within the nerve supplying sensation to your legs. This may be an abnormal sensation originating from the nerve endings or could be related to compression of nerves as they enter your spine. Suggest being seen by a physician for further evaluation which will include physical exam, medication history, and possible imaging.
