Yes: Baby acne can come and go but that is triggered more by hormones. This rash sounds more like a heat rash than baby acne.

Baby acne comes&gos: It is common for infants to have rashes (acne/contact dermatitis/heat rashes) that come and go, particularly within the first few months of life. As you have identified some rashes appear to get worse with environmental temperature changes. It is usually nothing to worry about but check with your baby's pediatrician if it is worrying you. I would suggest taking a picture of the rash when it flares
