Discuss with your dr: most common antidepressants are called "SSRI" and include prozac,lexapro,celexa and more. These may be helpful as they work with neurotransmitter Serotonin and are very effective. Other type commonly used is wellbutrin (bupropion) which works on neurotransmitter Dopamine. Your psychiatrist or primary care physician can discuss risks/benefits of above type meds and decide if appropriate for your depression

Depends: If Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) did not precipitate a manic or hypomanic episode in the past it is unlikely that you have Bipolar Disorder. What ever agent is used for your mood you need to decide when or if to use medication. (It may take several weeks to re-establish medical stability after coming off the amphetamine). Caffeine has antidepressant properties but it withdrawal symptoms include headache. Talk to MD.
