Ihave been under the care of my neurologist for years and he says is my problem is most likely brain damage from the benzs he gave me ,cant help me.

Ativan (lorazepam): can cause respiratory depression leading to brain injury. Ativan (lorazepam) withdrawal as well can lead to seizures causing brain injury. Traumatic brain injury can cause chronic issues as well. You may wish to get the opinion of a sub specialist. There are currently 5 board certified Behavioral Neurologists in Florida. Two are in Jacksonville and Two are at the University of Florida in Gainsville.
