Unlikely, DiffIssues: While the thyroid hormone system, controlled from the hypothalamus of the brain, affects many hidden internal issues, the odds that it is a controlling factor in constipation, esp. that varies, is very unlikely. Food choices, hydration, delaying defecating until convenient, lack of physical activity & nervous system control of bowels are likely vastly more powerful issues for constipation.
