Time: Hopefully, the measurements were ok, and the getting used to takes time. Summer time is hot, and compliance is sometimes difficult. 30-40 mm Hg is used for venous ulcer, DVT, and lymphedema. If your problem is more for swelling without the other maladies, consider 20-30 mm Hg, below knee. Should discomfort persist after trying 1-2 weeks, talk with your doctor.
