Herpes is forever: Whether it is type I-Oral herpes, or type 2-genital herpes. These can be spread to their alternate locations by cunnilingous. You do NOT have to have open sores to spread. It helps to take daily antivirals if you are very sexually active, they have shown to reduce risk. Wear a condom when she "goes down" or a dental dam.Talk to doc about meds to avoid catching it.It's a present that lasts forever
