Less likely: Saliva is not considered a transmissible fluid for HIV (like blood, semen, vaginal fluids). However, any oral sexual contact should be done with a barrier if HIV status is unknown. Any cuts or lesions in the mouth can increase risk. Still less likely w/ scenario described.
