Several: There are several way to improve cognitive performance. First, get enough sleep, 7-8 hours a night. Second, do moderate exercise 4-5 times per week. Exercise has been shown to improve brain function. Finally, exercise your brain. Read, do challenging puzzles, and learn something new, like chess. Tackling hard problems will force your brain to form new connections. Hope this helps!

Short sweet answer?: Use the organ for what it was intended; THINKING & PRODUCING GOOD WORK. Don't abuse it with drugs, alcohol, too much garbage food & toxins. Stay away from herbicides, pesticides, & chemicals in the food/water/personal products. Use the brain for what it does best...LEARNING, CALCULATING, STORE/RETRIEVE information. Many websites help with these things (www.lumosity.com) as well as SCHOOL!
