A member asked:

Im 38 weeks pregnant i've would like to know if its safe to take castro oil this would be my second time taking it?

Not recommended: Although 38 weeks is term, it's not ideal to induce pregnancy prior to a pregnancy due date. Castor oil to induce pregnancy has been used by practitioners and midwives for some time. However, it can cause diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting without inducing pregnancy, leaving you feeling badly at this stage of pregnancy. It can also cause fetal distress. Recommend talking to your Dr. before considering
