According to : researchers at UCLA & in Korea, yes. Teens & young adults in Korea have sought help for memory problems, attention deficits & emotional flattening. Some can't remember their own phone numbers. Deterioration in cognitive abilities in those hooked on surfing the web, gaming, texting, etc. apparently resembles that from traumatic brain injury or psychiatric illness. Use it or lose it, it seems.
