A member asked:

Having watery cervical mucus instead of stretchy and slimy around ovulation. ..could this be an infertility issue? it's never stretchy!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Definitions: Midcycle ovulatory cervical mucus is different from cervical mucus in the rest of the cycle.Other than that, many different descriptions are used.Different words mean different things to different people.Profuse is the most common word used but just increased may also describe it. It should be clear and runny, slimey ,or eggwhite-like.Mucus-sperm interaction can be a problem but yours sounds normal
