Yes: Several of my patients have dealt w/ that and say it can be the only way to get a break from pain. Some have been able to switch to periods of Mindfullness Meditation to obtain the break. It's a real challenge and you should have an excellent psychotherapist to work with along w/ whatever medications are needed. OCD specialists are not common but can be worth the effort to find. Get references!
