Blur: The most common symptoms of early cataracts are blurred vision, glare and sensitivity to light. If you are having any of these symptoms, see your eye doctor to determine whether cataracts are the cause.

Cataract symptoms: Cataracts cause halos/glare especially when driving at night, blurry vision, loss of contrast sensitivity (decreased contrast between objects & background ) & decreased vision: even on; these symptoms worse with time. Visual blur: Cataracts in the early stages can change the eyeglass power needed to see well, can cause visual blur, can cause glare sensitivity, can cause halos around lights and can alter the spectrum of color sensitivity. Cataracts do not inflame the eye nor do they hurt.
