Get evaluated: I would suggest more evaluation especially if the pain is associated with urinary issues. Possibilities: kidney stones, inflammation of your kidney, cysts, among others. If not the kidney then other issues, like muscle, bowel problems, or uterine like the fibroids you mentioned could be causing symptoms. Follow up with your doctor on this.

R/O Lt. kidney prob.: Depending on the size and location of the fibroids, they can obstruct the flow from the left kidney, which may be the cause of the pain. You need to have a medical work up, in order to get to the bottom of this issue, start with a GYN doc.
