Possible Dehydration: If you have a cold make certain you are drinking plenty of water or other liquids. Fever, sweating and rapid breathing make you lose fluids. Don't get dehydrated.

Yes: Viral upper respiratory infections "colds" usually cause nasal congestion and plugging of the eustachian tubes. This can result in unequal pressure in the middle ear space resulting in asymmetry of the balance signal to the brain. The net effect is dizziness, unsteadiness, light headed feeling, etc. Motion spinning vertigo can result if the virus attacks the inner ear nerve also.
