Wow!: 4 to 5 bananas a day is a lot of sugar. Yes, you can gain weight if your total calories are also high. However if you maintain low total calories it is Ok. It doe snot cause drowsiness. However, some people sleep better if they get enough carbohydrates specially as fruit sugar.
