Missed abortion: is what obstetricians call it when an embryo passes and it is found out only weeks later. We don't know the answer as to why. You should get a transvaginal ultrasound soon to determine, if your baby is in the womb or outside the womb, if it is a singleton or multiple pregnancy, and if there is a heart beat over 100 beats per minute.
