See gynecologist: If I understand you correctly, your mother now has vaginal bleeding after having had none for 18 months, and she is taking Tamoxifen. This bleeding needs to be evaluated by a gynecologist. The gynecologist will want to check for any abnormal tissue ( cancer or precursor of cancer) in the uterus.
