When you grow: quickly or gain weight, it is common to get stretch marks ( I got them too when I was 16). There are new lasers to treat them when you are able to do so. Topical retinoids can also help

Check with doctor: Stretch marks may happen with rapid growth or weight gain. Sometimes, stretch marks might be a sign of a hormonal issue. A doctor can get a good history and examine the skin to reassure you, or do testing, if indicated.
