In vs out: I would put your emphasis on exercising and a good healthy low calorie diet. Your calories in has to be less than your calories out (intake vs exercise&caloric use). Doing this for sustained time in a healthy manner will provide you the opportunity to shed weight and keep it off while being healthy.
